My Background Story
I grew up as the oldest of three children in Morgan City, Louisiana — a small Cajun town built around the oilfield industry, where the swamps and bayous were my backyard. I left for Baton Rouge to attend LSU, joined Delta Tau Delta fraternity, made friendships that have lasted a lifetime, and never looked back.
For over 35 years, Baton Rouge has been where I've built my career, raised my family, and invested deeply in my community. I've been blessed with 36 years of marriage, two wonderful adult children, and a faith life anchored at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church.
Away from work, you'll find me cheering on the Tigers — especially LSU Baseball and Football — or on the basketball court working on my reliable 15 foot baseline jump shot. I'm surrounded by the same people who have had my back since college and a lot more that I met along the journey. I believe the relationships you build and the communities you serve define you as much as anything on your resume.
